2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek - Help Infotainment Features Advantages


Subaru announced yesterday that both the XV Crosstrek and the Subaru XV . Crosstrek Hybrid are receiving some new features for 2015, including updated infotainment systems and newly available driver assistance features.

The base gas-only and hybrid 2015 XV Crosstrek trims come standard with a rearview camera and an infotainment system with a 6.2-inch touch screen. This system features smartphone integration, Pandora and iHeart Radio apps. An upgraded infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen, voice command and two USB ports is available on upper trims.

Subaru is also offering its EyeSight driver assistance system to upper trims, and models with this feature also get steering responsive fog lights. The EyeSight system includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and pre-collision braking.

The 2015 XV Crosstrek with the available continuously variable transmission has a slightly higher EPA fuel economy estimate than the 2014 model. The 2015 is rated at 26/34 mpg city/highway, and the 2014 model is rated at 25/33 mpg. The XV Crosstrek Hybrid goes from 29/33 mpg for the 2014 model to 30/34 mpg for the 2015 model.


No pricing information for the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek or 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid has been announced yet. The 2014 model starts at $21,995. Subaru says the 2015 XV Crosstrek and Crosstrek Hybrid will arrive at dealerships this December.
